  • Real estate representation has included the planning, drafting, and negotiation of development agreements, real property acquisition, development, and disposition, compliance with building regulations and codes, and commercial leasing. A considerable portion of her practice involves drafting, analysis and negotiation of real estate title documents, including easements, options, licenses, operating agreements, and land covenants, conditions and restrictions, and review of title insurance commitments, policies and endorsements.
  • Represented both developers and investors in numerous residential and commercial development projects throughout Michigan, including condominium projects.
  • Local counsel for an Association of Realtors® and regularly counsels real estate agents regarding residential and commercial real estate transactions.
  • In estate planning, Ms. Kossen works personally with families and individuals to ensure that inheritance and family gifts are allocated in the best possible manner.
  • She develops estate plans for individuals of varied backgrounds, including young couples, and retired couples and individuals.
