Professional Activities:

Advises public and private employers in all area of labor and employment law including claims brought in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, National Labor Relations Board and Michigan Employment Relations Commission.

Conducts employee misconduct investigations and recommendations.

Negotiates collective bargaining agreements as well as contract interpretation, grievances and arbitration.

Advises on day to day employment matters such as Open Meetings Act, Freedom of Information Act request, drafting employment policies and agreements, FMLA/ADA compliance, employee discipline, and other general counsel matters.

Provides presentations and lectures regarding various employment issues including annual legal updates, current developments in education, municipal and labor law.

Ms. Mullett is active in her community, serves on several local boards and regularly volunteers with school and community groups.
