Kreis Enderle Attorney Elected onto the State Bar of Michigan’s American Indian Law Section Council

Kreis Enderle attorney, Amy Foerster, was elected secretary of the State Bar of Michigan American Indian Law Section Council. The council helps protect the rights of tribal courts and preserves sovereign nations throughout the state of Michigan. The American Indian Law Section Council continues to play a huge role in bridging the gap of understanding between state and tribal laws through meetings, seminars, public service programs, and other diverse functions. In Michigan, there are twelve federally recognized sovereign nations, each governed by a unique tribal court. Tribal courts take into account the rich cultural heritage and traditions of each nation, making sure laws are sensitive to each culture.

Within the firm, Amy leads the American Indian Law practice group.  Along with American Indian Law, Amy also practices Family Law, and Labor and Employment Law.  Amy is based out of Kreis Enderle’s Battle Creek office and can be contacted by email AFoerster@KreisEnderle.com.  For more information on American Indian Law or Kreis, Enderle, Hudgins, & Borsos P.C., please visit www.KreisEnderle.com.
