Tom King Defends Two Matters In Supreme Court

Attorney, Tom King, successfully defends clients before the United States Supreme Court.

Kreis, Enderle, Hudgins & Borsos, P.C. is pleased to announce that one of our Shareholders, Thomas G. King, has successfully defended two of our governmental clients in separate matters before the United States Supreme Court. In both matters, with Tom’s assistance, our clients prevailed in the lower court and were able to convince the United States Supreme Court not to grant an Application for Certiorari filed by the opposing parties. Both cases, Wayside Church, et al v Van Buren County Treasurer, No. 17-88 and 2 Crooked Creek, LLC et al v Cass County Treasurer, No. 17-169, involved challenges to the Michigan Tax Foreclosure Act on Constitutional grounds. Tom also wishes to thank John J. Bursch, of Bursch Law PLLC, for his assistance related to the response to the Applications filed with the United States Supreme Court.

Tom has a long history of successfully assisting both governmental and non-governmental clients with governmental matters. For more information on governmental matters, please contact Tom King at tking@kreisenderle.com.
