Attorney Jason ter Avest Joins Kreis Enderle’s Battle Creek Office

Kreis Enderle is delighted to announce that Jason ter Avest has joined the firm as an associate in our Battle Creek office, where he focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

“Jason is a great addition to our team,” said Kreis Enderle Managing Partner Kay Kossen. “His background in estate law coupled with his extraordinary client care, make him a tremendous asset to our practice.”

Before joining Kreis Enderle, Jason practiced in a local firm where he handled estate planning, probate and trust administration, probate litigation, and municipal law matters. He is a member of the Calhoun County Bar Association executive board and is involved in AMBUCS, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to providing mobility and independence to people with disabilities.

Jason received the prestigious designation as the Presidential Scholar for Finance and Commercial Law while earning his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution and a CALI Award in Federal Estate and Gift Tax.
