Fazio Gives Back Through Youth Soccer Program
At Kreis Enderle, we put great emphasis on giving back to the community. Attorney Sara Fazio is doing just that – with soccer.
Sara is the president of the board of directors for River City FC – a youth soccer program in Grand Rapids, Mich. According to their website, their mission is “to positively impact the lives of children and families by providing educational programs that build character, develop capability, and strengthen our community – ALL through the game of soccer.”
Recently, River City FC was mentioned in an article on The Huffington Post about the growth of youth soccer in the US. The article explains how River City FC is planning to build an 80-acre complex designed to make Grand Rapids a hub for youth soccer in the Midwest.
River City FC is about much more than just soccer, though. Their #BeyondTheField initiative is designed to help instill values in kids that will help them long after they are done playing soccer.
“I’m just happy to be able to be involved,” Sara responded. “It’s a great program, and seeing kids learn valuable lessons while playing a sport they enjoy is something I’ll never grow tired of.”
Sara has been repeatedly recognized as an emerging talent in Michigan’s legal community. She was selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as an Up & Coming Lawyer in 2010, and she was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012-2014. She graduated Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law, and she specializes in Civil and Commercial Litigation.
We applaud Sara for her dedication to the Grand Rapids community.
