Michigan Lawyers Weekly Names Jeff Swenarton to Its First-Ever List of “Go To Lawyers” in Real Estate and Condo Law

Jeff Swenarton Michigan Real Estate LawyerWe are thrilled to announce shareholder Jeff Swenarton has been selected to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s inaugural listing of “Go To Lawyers” in the area of real estate and condominium law.

The shareholder in charge of Kreis Enderle’s main office in Kalamazoo, Jeff dedicates his time to all things real estate and has since he launched his legal career in 1991. Whether he is negotiating a complex multi-million dollar deal for a commercial property developer or preparing a basic land contract for a home buyer, he handles his clients’ needs effectively and efficiently.

In particular, Jeff enjoys the aspects of condominium documentation for commercial and residential projects. He may well have drafted as many condo formation documents, such as master deeds and bylaws, as any other attorney in West Michigan. He regularly handles leases, easements, real estate foreclosures, lease options, and environmental issues related to real estate transactions.

He also spends significant time on construction lien issues, local municipal issues, representing clients (individuals and groups) before municipal boards, planning commissions, and zoning boards of appeal regarding site plans, variances, and rezoning issues.   He has been a frequent lecturer and has written several articles on real estate and environmental issues.

Michigan Lawyers Weekly defines a “Go To Lawyer” as:

  • An expert in his or her field, well-versed in the nuances of the case law, statutes, and regulations clients will encounter.
  • Experienced and enjoys a record of success, with many cases that give testimony to the quality advice they can provide.
  • One to whom other lawyers make referrals because of their expertise and accomplishments.
  • A creative thinker who identifies all options for a client.

Jeff is certainly all of these things – and more. We are proud of him and the effort he makes every day to be the go-to resource for real property issues.
