An associate in our Grand Rapids office, Tiffany Burks’ path to the practice of law is based on a simple seed planted early in life – to serve others.
Initially, Tiffany chose to serve in the U.S. Navy, holding various roles overseas with the military police in Bahrain and Japan. These posts piqued her interest in the law, and she eventually pivoted from law enforcement to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, returning stateside as a lead paralegal.
After nine years of military service, Tiffany went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, simultaneously studying, raising a family, volunteering, and working full time as a tax enforcement officer with the Michigan Department of Treasury. A testament to her focus, dedication, and time management skills, she graduated law school magna cum laude.
At Kreis Enderle, Tiffany continues to follow her service instinct, advocating for clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence. She also counsels clients in the firm’s growing tax practice.
