We are delighted to welcome two new associates to the firm!
Tiffany Burks joins our Grand Rapids office after a rather non-traditional path to the practice of law. After a distinguished nine-year naval career, including service as a decorated military police officer and as a lead paralegal with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Tiffany left the U.S. Navy to pursue her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. While earning her law degree, she worked full time as a tax enforcement officer with the Michigan Department of Treasury, raised a family, and volunteered in her community. She graduated magna cum laude in spring 2019, and now handles divorce and family law matters, and also counsels clients in our growing tax practice.
Thomas Cedoz is a new associate in our Kalamazoo office and focuses on employment, business law, and civil litigation. Tom joins us after practicing with a Detroit-area firm where he prosecuted and defended corporate and commercial disputes, and also worked on business transactions and ERISA and tax compliance issues. He earned an undergraduate degree in business from Miami University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law on a full scholarship. In law school, Tom served as the business manager and staff editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and participated in the Student Tax Law Association.
Tiffany and Tom symbolize the firm’s continuing growth and bright future, and we are thrilled to have them on the Kreis Enderle team!
