For more than three decades, Jeff Swenarton has been passionate about real estate law and transactions. As a dealmaker, he provides value to each client on every deal and is committed to getting his clients what they need.

Jeff’s clients include businesses, developers, and individuals involved in buying, selling, and leasing commercial and other real estate valued from tens of thousands to tens of millions of dollars. He recently closed multiple real estate transactions valued at over $30 million. Jeff is also a skilled environmental law practitioner, adding value to his real estate transactions.

In addition, Jeff is an experienced condominium lawyer. He has drafted condominium documents for over 40 condo projects and continues to represent associations after formation to advise them on the intricacies of governance.

Jeff has always represented clients involved in all types of construction law matters, including developers and contractors in AIA and other building contract negotiations and documentation. He brings this specialized construction industry know-how to his real estate practice, another value-add to those he represents.

Jeff is detail-oriented and highly attentive to client and deal constituent needs. He believes service goes beyond dispensing practical legal advice, and he takes the time to understand his client’s objectives and explain their options moving forward according to their threshold for risk. Often, Jeff is the reason a deal happens due to his ability to find solutions that protect his clients and their goals.

An active speaker and writer on real estate law topics, Jeff is active in various legal, business, civic, non-profit, and religious organizations. He previously served as chairman of the MRC Industries Board and now serves on the Pretty Lake Camp board of directors.
