Michael Yassay found his passion for law in helping his clients achieve peace of mind. Whether that peace of mind comes from counseling on business decisions, assisting clients in navigating the new and rapidly changing world of cannabis law, or helping them plan for their family’s futures, it is the driving force guiding his practice.
Michael understands that estate planning may be a first introduction to the legal process for many clients. He alleviates their stress and confusion with his accessible approach and ability to understand their unique circumstances and ultimate goals. Using a holistic approach to craft their estate plans puts his clients at ease and in the best positions to provide for their families now and in the future. Michael’s clients are confident in his counsel, and most become long-lasting relationships.
With an MBA and business background, Michael adeptly advises companies and business owners through the lifecycles of their businesses. He is also experienced in helping those entering the still-evolving legal and regulatory landscape of cannabis law.
Michael graduated from Michigan State University School of Law, receiving the jurisprudence award for business enterprises. He earned his MBA from MSU’s Eli Broad College of Business, where he received the Eli Broad Warrior Award and graduated at the top of his MBA cohort. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors.
